This beautiful front yard was designed and executed with the careful and considered approach of our team, in conjunction with our garden loving, green thumb client.

The aim was not only to add street appeal to this lovingly renovated house, (You can follow their renovation journey over on Instagram Living at Iris Ave) but also to use the strength and longevity of these huge sandstone boulders to retain and make better use of this sloping site.

 

This new lay out looks superb and allows for many areas to enjoy, beautiful gardens to plant out, turf areas to play, steps and boulders as informal seating and decks to lounge on.  

 

Retaining walls don't have to be ugly. This front yard proves that when designed and constructed well, sloping sites can be beautiful and functional.
